Villechétive is a small village located in the Yonne, in the Pays d'Othe region and is located exactly between Champagne and Chablis.
The name of the village literally means "skinny" / small village and with 250 inhabitants, the village is indeed not big (but nice!).
Villechétive is ideally located to explore the cider route (including cider museum in the village next door). And to visit and discover wine regions; tasting champagne at the famous or less famous champagne houses, or a "degustation" at one of the large or smaller wineries in the Chablis
Villechétive is located in the middle of the triangle Troyes, Sens and Auxerre. Three cities, each with their own history and their own charm.
Troyes is a city with many terraces and restaurants and many old half-timbered houses.
Auxerre has a charming town center and many restaurants.
Sens, also called little Paris, is located on the Yonne. and here you can also eat out
You can also eat well in the somewhat smaller town of Migennes (10 minutes away from us). The nearest larger supermarkets are also located here.
You already notice; we love food ;-).
A bakery and butcher, pharmacy, post office, etc. can be found in Cerisier, 4 km away.
