Who are we?

Well, we already gave away a bit of the answer to that....

Two years ago we moved to France. Like all participants in "I'm leaving" we wanted something different; getting to know another country and its inhabitants, having different work and having more time together (but without appearing on TV).

Finally we found a place in Villechétive; a quiet village in a rural setting. And a beautiful and rustic house (from before 1870), with enough space to open a chambre d'hôte.

And the name; la Vigrothe? It comes from the previous owner who converted the house from a barn and small farm into a beautiful country house, in which the family enjoyed life. Hence the name "La Vie Grande dans le pays d'ôthe".

We are happy to welcome you in our chambre d'hôte, to enjoy life in the Pays d'othe just like us!
